Brittany Sugg & Sara Larkins are two passionate teachers who want to bring awareness to our Fishers Elementary School students about ways to reduce stress and cope with their feelings. We want all students to know that is okay to feel a certain type of emotion and explore all of the positive/healthy ways to handle their feelings and emotions.
We want to bring AWARENESS to mental health to our school as well as community. Our goal is for our classes to participate in a service learning project by hosting art show to encourage students at FES & in the community to show WHAT THEY LOVE AND HELP THEM RELIEVE STRESS.The money we make at the Art Show will be donated to the the Peyton Riekhof Foundation for Youth Hope. We want to share Peyton’s story with the youth in raising awareness for mental health.

On the evening of the art show, the community of Fishers is invited to shop for some art and give a donation of their choosing for the chosen piece. This free event will have a live DJ ( a student from Geist Elementary) and meaningful artwork created by some amazing kids!
